Welcome to RestartEd – A catalyst for positive change.
RestartEd
RestartEd is our new restart initiative, focused on the needs of hard-to-reach young people, offering 12 hours per week of high quality, one-to-one learning and mentoring, from our qualified and experienced team of education professionals.
This includes a rich and well-balanced curriculum comprising core academic subjects, such as Mathematics and English Language, alongside vocational learning and essential life skills. All delivered in a safe, secure and nurturing environment that embodies our school’s core shared values of ‘Humanity’, ‘Togetherness’, ‘Compassion’ and ‘Progression’.
In addition to this, we also offer a range of extra-curricular activities, to encourage social and emotional development, promote a healthy and active lifestyle and support mental and physical wellbeing. Restart is available to young people on either a full or part-time basis, depending on their individual circumstances.
Some of them may come to us for focused, one-to-one sessions, in addition to their full-time education or AP provider, to renew their confidence and regain their self-belief.
Others may be unable to access formal group education of any kind, instead requiring one-to-one mentoring in an environment that is compassionate, understanding and non-judgmental.
Whatever their story, we’re here to help them write their next chapter, get their education back on track and fulfil their true potential.
“Many young people come to us with limited expectations from life and low aspirations for their futures.
“RestartEd is their catalyst for positive change, helping them to challenge their existing restrictive, negative perceptions and progress.”
James Lowe – Director, RestartEd
